Happy new year!

Just a quick note to say happy new year to one and all, I hope this year brings you all that you wish for. We are now in our third year of operation and 2010 promises to be the best year yet with lots of interesting presentations, conferences and social meetups coming your way.

We had over 600 new signups in 2009 which has taken us to almost 850! I am eager for the LJC to keep growing at this rate and would like to increase our membership to 1500 by the end of 2010.

If you are not already a member the LJC is an official Java User Group. We meet regularly for presentations on the latest technologies and movements within the Java world. We also hold regular competitions and giveaways for our members. Membership is completely free, you can sign up here:  http://www.meetup.com/Londonjavacommunity/

Thanks,

Barry Cranford

What is the LJC

The London Java Community (LJC) is a group of Java Enthusiasts who are interested in benefiting from shared knowledge in the industry. Through our forum and regular meetings you can keep in touch with the latest industry developments, learn new Java (& other JVM) technologies, meet other developers, discuss technical/non technical issues and network further throughout the Java Community.
